Distilled water helps me to swallow lots of pills every day

There are many choices of water, but which one should I drink? Over time, I have chosen to drink water that has been distilled. I’ll tell you why.

I must take many drugs and supplements each day. A lot means almost 50 pills daily. Obviously, that is a large number. I do not have much choice, but to take all these pills a few at a time without getting sick.

I have osteoporosis and have needed to swallow calcium pills each day

Because of the drugs I that needed to have, I now have other aliments. I have to take more pills to counter these ailments. One situation is that I developed osteoporosis and have had to get down calcium bone supplements each day. This resulted from all of the Prednisone, because I have had Crohns for two decades. As a result, I am required to take several calcium osteoporosis supplement pills to reverse my calcium bone loss. That is the reason why I am required to swallow a great number of drugs daily. As I swallow these pills, I cannot help but notice chemical smell of our tap water.

Maybe it is unavoidable, but my county always has had water with a very high content of chlorine. I can taste it easily. Quality reports come with the water bill that say my town’s water has a lot of chemical additives. These chemicals worry me.

I expect that some chemicals would be there, because the water comes from natural places. Nevertheless, some of the other stuff is shocking. The water company services a large population, and they have to make sure that the local water supply is potable. Read the water analyses that get delivered in the water bill envelope, since they can be very informative. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, I’m actually glad I read them.

With distilled bottled water, I can take all my drugs and supplements

Several years ago my uncle came to visit me and we had a conversation about water purity. Since he travels a lot, and he commented that he usually brings distilled water. Why distilled, I questioned? He told me that it’s the only water knows he won’t get sick on. In addition, he can buy it in any market.

I had never thought of that. I had only used distilled water for ironing. After learning about his use of distilled water, my Crohns has gotten somewhat worse. Because of these problems, I now have to swallow quite a few more pills. In addition to my Crohn’s drugs, I also must get down vitamins and supplements, including multivitamins and some extra vitamins along with a calcium pyruvate 750mg supplement following my doctor’s orders.

Crohns Disease causes me to be very sensitive to smells that cause me to get sick. So, it is best for me to drink only distilled water, because I must always get down all my drugs and supplements each day.
